Current events are shifting the currents in our bodies and in the Earth.
The waters speak. The Earth has been speaking.
And this time, perhaps, people are finally listening.
Maybe you feel it too. That strange heaviness in the air. The dreams that feel more like messages. The sense that something’s shifting, but you can’t name it yet. You’re not alone.
Tonight, there is a Tsunami advisory for the coast. But I don’t believe this is just about weather patterns or plate tectonics. Something bigger is moving.
And it’s not just outside of us, it’s in us.
We’re being stirred, emotionally and spiritually, by the same current that’s tugging at the edges of the Earth.
If you’ve been feeling sensitive lately, more tired than usual, more easily overwhelmed, unsure where to place your attention, I am certain this is not just stress.
I am also certain that we are not broken.
We are tuning in.
We are entering a threshold moment. A transition between spiritual seasons. A time when the fire of the past few years (all that intensity, all that exposure, all that burning away) is giving way to water.
To feeling. To fluidity.
To facing what we’ve tried to avoid…..and what we’ve been told to avoid.
I’m not one of the storytellers that will ask you to push through ‘til 2026.
I will ask you to surrender, though. Because more is coming.
I will invite you, now, to let go of what you thought was safety, and to remember what is sacred.
Not trendy.
Not perfect.
Just sacred.
To call something sacred is to recognize that it holds a power, a presence, or a purpose that is inherently worthy of reverence.
It is what remains inviolable, even when the world forgets its value.
A thing is sacred when:
It connects you to the divine (however you name it)
It returns you to yourself
It humbles you, softens you, awakens you
Your breath is sacred.
The first cry of a baby is sacred.
The last words of the dying are sacred.
The soil. The silence. The tears you didn’t expect to cry. Sacred.
And here’s the key:
Sacred is not a category—it’s a way of seeing.
And this is not the time to try to be ‘ready’ for what we’re seeing. We just have to be present.
What do we do now?
We anchor. Name what is sacred to you. Within you.
We stop looking for the next 5-year plan and instead ask:
What part of me needs to be witnessed right now?
What am I still trying to hold together that’s already falling apart?
What in me wants to be softened, not solved?
We center ourselves in what is, not what was. Not the illusion of control, but the truth of connection. To our bodies. To our breath. To the Earth.
There’s a tide rising in the world. I’ve begun to notice more people waking up to their inner voice. I am teaching and encountering more children who feel things before they speak them. I am seeing old traditions becoming urgent medicine. I am witnessing ceremonies, rest, and rhythm become practical, not overly performed. {No matter what visuals you see trending, there is real transformation happening all day, every day! }
And more is coming. This isn’t about getting “more spiritual.” It’s about getting more honest. More rooted. More available to what this moment is asking of us.
And, no, you don’t need to do more.
You just need to listen more deeply.
To your body.
To the land beneath your feet.
To the quiet instructions that are always coming from within. This isn’t the end. It’s the beginning of the next cycle. We don’t need to rush toward it, we just need to arrive.
And when you do…
when you stop bracing and start breathing…
you'll realize: you’re not being swallowed.
You’re being reborn.
Thank you for being here….and for reading,
K.
Such power in your words, Kira. As someone going through a major life transition right now, thank you for reminding me that I just need to breathe and let what is happening happen to get to the next phase.
I don't need to rush, I need to arrive. **finger snaps**
